IKEA Cookbook...Simple but Wonderful

Inspired by high fashion and Japanese minimalism, the 140 page cookbook from creative directors Staffan Lamm and Christoffer Persson, photographer Carl Kleiner, copywriter Fredrik Jansson and creative agency Forsman & Bodenfor, is designed to present baking in a visually unique manner as well as highlight the connection between IKEA’s kitchen appliances and baking.

Swedish furniture brand IKEA has taken their desire for simplicity one-step further with a recently released wordless cookbook. Dubbed Homemade Is Best; the collaborative coffee table project offers recipes for popular Swedish cakes, cookies and other deserts. The ‘recipes’ are explained via studio portraits of the ingredients and an image of the finished dish.
